Upon arriving at Momijiya Honkan Takaosansou, we were warmly welcomed by the attentive and friendly staff, setting the tone for a delightful stay. The traditional Japanese style room with tatami-mat flooring and paper sliding doors provided an authentic ryokan experience, while the view of the lush forest from our window was simply breathtaking.We had the pleasure of indulging in a sumptuous meal at the kawadoko, an outdoor deck next to the river, where a mesmerizing Maiko performance enhanced our dining experience.
